Ed Brill

Ed Brill is Director, Messaging and Collaboration, IBM Lotus software. In this position, Ed and his team are responsible for the product and market strategy for the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino product family--market-leading collaborative software, LotusLive Notes, Lotus Symphony, Lotus Protector, and other related Lotus-branded software solutions. Brill's focus is on growing and continuing IBM's success in messaging and collaboration solutions, through working with customers, business partners, and IBM sales, marketing, and product development organizations. In his sixteen-year career at IBM, Ed Brill has held a variety of sales, marketing, and product-related leadership roles. Prior to his current position, Ed was Director, Product Management, Notes and Domino Products. In that role, Brill's responsibilities included the market launches of Lotus Notes/Domino 8.5 and 8.5.1, the introduction of Alloy by IBM and SAP, the release of Lotus Symphony 1.3, and the release of LotusLive Notes, an IBM cloud offering for messaging and collaboration. Before returning to product management, Brill was Business Unit Executive, Worldwide Sales for Lotus Notes and Domino.
